You can think of this as a contracted post. People express interest and you pick who gets the contract. Money is exchanged throughout the process as certain milestones are reached.

How is this not just paid StackOverflow?
The intention here is not to try to replace or compete with StackOverflow. Our intention is to provide a platform where the questions require more time and effort to answer than what could reasonably be expected to be done for free. It is due to this increase in the time and effort required that we feel that those answering the questions will need to be compensated for their efforts.
How will disputes be resolved between posters and answerers?
Either party is free to file a dispute. Once a dispute is filed moderators will review the case and decide on the appropirate action to take.
In the case of one-to-one posts we will try to reduce the number of disputes that need to be filed. We will have both parties negotiate appropirate milestones to help set expectations before any work has been done.
How will you handle students posting homework questions?
We have several plans for how to handle this.
